Addressable Raises $7.5 Million in Seed Round
Marketing agencies are struggling to promote Web3 products to their audiences because they lack insight into these services. Software startup Addressable has raised $7.5 million in a seed round, claiming it may have a solution to this problem. The round was led by Viola Ventures, Fabric Ventures, Mensch Capital Partners, and North Island Ventures, all of which are excited about the performance of Addressable’s software.
The company claims that it will be able to pair a user’s on-chain address with their social media profiles, allowing marketers to capture important data about their potential target audience. This data could help design special campaigns to entice certain types of Web3 audiences and direct them to social profiles on platforms like Twitter.
Addressable’s software should select each user from a poll of more than 500 million Web3 addresses from several chains and cross-reference them with the whole universe of social network accounts that exist today on different platforms. For now, the company supports
Ethereum, Polygon, Binance Smart Chain, Fuse, Arbitrum, and other EVMs for targeting purposes; for tracking, it only monitors audiences on the Ethereum blockchain and will in the future support Polygon and Binance Smart Chain will be supported.
Competition and Vision
Addressable’s business model is not unique, as there are already other companies that are also trying to solve the Web3 marketing problem.Addressable’s co-founder and CEO, Tomer Sharoni, co-founder and CEO of Addressable, had this to say about the competition:Techcrunch about the competition the company faces and how it is trying to differentiate itself from these other startups. He states.
Addressable.io competes with other Web3 CRM startups such as Blaze, Cookie3, Kazm, and Absolute Labs, which are primarily focused on customer focus on reactivation.
However, Sharoni said Addressable had a more holistic approach, as it aims to unlock all Web3 on-chain users. The company also states that it protects the privacy of targeted users because customers cannot target users as individual data points and the information is not stored on its servers.
