According to December 14, 2022 statistics: -Fungible Token (NFT) sales increased by 27.72% over NFT sales recorded last week. The Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT collection had the most sales this week, but on Wednesday afternoon the floor associated with Cryptopunks once again surpassed the floor associated with the BAYC NFT collection.
NFT sales hit $154 million last week, Cryptopunks floor rises
Last Wednesday to today, 154.78 million in the past 7 days Dollar sales recorded. 27.72% higher than the previous week. According to cryptoslam.io metric, $154 million in NFT sales last week came from 184,248 NFT buyers and 886,605 blockchain transactions.
Ethereum NFT sales dominated again, as the chain’s NFT sales were $129.99 million out of the seven-day total of $154 million. NFT sales from ETH were 37.73% higher than ETH-based NFT sales last week. In addition to Ethereum, NFT sales continued from Solana, Immutable X, Polygon and Cardano. In addition to the increase in Ethereum NFT sales, Immutable X NFT sales increased by 5.20% over the previous week.
BAYC as his collection, the top collection in 7 days of NFT sales, recorded sales of $21.84 million last week. BAYC is followed by Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC), Valhalla, Tim Ferriss’ Cockpunch and Azuki. The most expensive NFT sold this week was BAYC #441, selling for $691,000 five days ago. BAYC #441 was followed by BAYC #3,756 for $517,000 and Sandbox Land #92,594 for $202,000.
BAYC #2,596 sold for $178,000 about 24 hours ago, while BAYC #785 sold for about $137,000. Four of the top five NFT sales this week were BAYC-related, but BAYC NFTs once again underperform Cryptopunks NFTs. At the time of writing, the current Cryptopunks floor is estimated to be 1.5 ether above BAYC’s floor at 1pm, according to nftpricefloor.com’s metrics. (ET) December 14, 2022.
