The venue will partner with The Sandbox, an Ethereum-based Metaverse experience, to create a park where players can freely skateboard with their NFTs.
Skateboarder will also be working with Autograph, a high-profile NFT company co-founded by Tom Brady, to create NFTs based on his most memorable moments and apparel, which fans can also utilize in The Sandbox metaverse. He has released several NTF collections in the past, some of which have included actual skateboards.
As for his next move, Hawk states.
I have always been a fan of new technology – from the first video games and home computers with CGI capabilities – so I am fascinated by the Metaverse and excited to bring our culture into the virtual landscape of the sandbox.
