San Diego-based cryptocurrency company Edge has announced the launch of a confidential crypto Mastercard that does not collect KYC data and charges no transaction fees Edge’s website reassures privacy advocates that “there are no names or addresses associated with [the Edge Mastercard].”
Edge Launches Privacy-Focused Encrypted Mastercard
The digital currency companyannounced that Edgeis launching theEdge MasterCard, a new cryptographic mastercard that allows users to create a new cryptographic mastercard for their accounts. It is a low-double crypto debit card that does not collect KYC data, Edge revealed the Mastercard on Twitter, telling the company’s followers, ” Zero Fees. Instant Funding – Everyone can now spendwith the Edge Mastercard, spend BTC, DOGE, can spend DASH, LTCand] , BCHinstantly and with no personal information required.” Gabe Higgins, founder of Blockspace.io, complimented Edge on its new privacy-centric crypto Mastercard.

Edge co-founder Paul Puey is proud to announce the “No Personal Information Required” Mastercard

There is no usage fee for the Edge Mastercard, but the physical card costs $20. The card can be used anywhere Mastercard is supported and is capped at $1,000 per day as far as load limits. Paul Puey, co-founder of Edge, explained Wednesday that executives are pleased to offer the privacy-oriented crypto Mastercard.
“We are proud to announce the Edge Mastercard, which requires no personal information for activation or use.” Puey wrote.” It can be used confidentially at U.S. merchants that accept the Mastercard.” Edge, formally Airbitz Inc. was founded in 2014 by Paul Puey, Damian Cutillo, Scott Morgan, Tim Horton, and William Swanson. In addition to the new confidential Mastercard, Edge recently adopted the Bitpay Payment Protocol, a protocol that guarantees accurate cryptocurrency payments.
