WhiteBIT, Europe’s largest crypto exchange from Ukraine, brought back the iconic Crystal Mike Trophy, auctioned on the MetaHistory platform, with the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 prize sale raising $900,000 for raised.

Whitebit broke two Ukrainian records simultaneously. They made the most expensive (500 ETH) NFT purchase, which is the largest donation amount during the live stream. The company’s goal is to promote blockchain technology and expand the cryptocurrency community, which may have led them to set the record and make the largest donation to support their country with cryptocurrency.

“WhiteBIT is grateful to the global community for supporting our country during this difficult time. As Ukrainians, we want our Western partners to know that Ukrainian businesses and entrepreneurs are also putting all their resources into maintaining the combat readiness of our brave soldiers, and our decision to donate at this auction organized by the Kalush Orchestra was was completely conscious and thoughtful. Sure, $900,000 is a lot of money, even for a crystal microphone. But $900,000 to help the army is only a small part of the full contribution of all Ukrainians towards our common victory” – said Volodymyr Nosov, CEO of WhiteBIT.

At the same time, the ambitious collaboration between Kalush and MetaHistory does not stop there: co-founder of Kalush Orchestra, Ukrainian music label ENKO has begun work on a music NFT album featuring renowned artists from Ukraine and abroad. All funds raised will also be used to support Ukraine.

“Enko always tries to stand above others, that is what a leader is. Therefore, I am very happy to be a co-creator of such a historic event and to be able to document it in the form of results. I am grateful to the crypto community and personally to Vladimir Nosov of Whitebit for such a powerful gesture. Especially for MetaHistory, because I want to thank VK for suggesting that we do this event together, and I can only add that Enko, MetaHistory and the OhMyGod Agency are planning something that will break all patterns and limits. Stay tuned,” – said Kateryna Dmytrenko, CEO of Enko music label (Kalush Orchestra label).

The Community Agency teamhelped OhMyGod market the event and supported the charity’s efforts.

With this latest move, Ukraine once again demonstrates the benefits of NFT I In March, Meta History released a collection of NFT pieces and successfully raised $800,000 for Ukraine. Metahistory’s unique platform dispels stereotypes about NFT and promotes NFT as a timeless and important means of communication with the world. The platform is an example to the entire world of the usefulness of NFT and is gaining momentum to become a national NFT platform.

“As a founder, I am delighted with the historic event that took place on the MetaHistory platform, as no one had ever minted a Eurovision trophy before. I thank the crypto community and personally Whitebit CEO Volodymyr Nosov for their participation and passion to win. The money raised will definitely be part of a joint effort to help our homeland in this terrible invasion, and MetaHistory will continue to work to show the world that NFT is more than a speculative asset” – said VK, CEO of MetaHistory .
