Swiss Watchmaker TAG Heuer Now Accepts Cryptocurrency in US

Luxury watchmaker TAG Heuer has announced the introduction of online cryptocurrency payments for U.S. customers. The Swiss company will offer the new payment method in partnership with cryptocurrency payment processor Bitpay.

Luxury watch designer and manufacturer TAG Heuer has adopted cryptocurrency for its high-end products: founded by Edouard Heuer in Switzerland over half a century ago, Techniques d’Avant-Garde (TAG) this week announced that customers in the United States can use multiple coins to pay for its products. watches and accessories online, the company announced. As more and more customers regularly use and purchase digital currency, TAG Heuer intends to become a major player in the upcoming e-commerce and retail transformation.

Alternative payment methods will be available through Bitpay, a cryptocurrency payment platform. Customers can use 12 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH), Dogecoin ( DOGE ) and five Stablecoins. They will be able to pay out up to $10,000 per transaction with no minimum spend requirement.

Currently, a pop-up on TAG Heuer’s U.S. site greets visitors and tells them that the company already accepts cryptocurrencies. To use digital coins, visitors must click on “Bitpay” at checkout and select their preferred cryptocurrency.
