Cryptocurrency exchange Binance announced it has partnered with video streaming service Showmax in a collaboration aimed at deepening the adoption of crypto in Africa, Business Day reports. In addition, approximately 500 Binance users in Nigeria will be registered and actively participating in Web3 and will receive access to the video streaming service for one month.

Binance’s Emmanuel Ebanehita said of the crypto exchange’s latest campaign to bring crypto to the masses:

The campaign also demonstrates the crypto exchange’s commitment to providing an “accessible and convenient platform” to enable users to participate in the digital economy, Ebashita added.

Opeoluwa Filani, general manager of Showmax Nigeria, praised the collaboration, saying it will make the company’s video streaming platform more accessible to a wider audience.

According to Business Day, users who wish to enroll in Binance’s crypto education and adoption initiative will need to complete a registration and make a transaction worth $10. Users confirm their participation in the campaign by filling out a form.
