Luna Foundation Purchases Another $5 Million in Bitcoin, LFG Wallet Holds 42,530 BTC

On Friday, Luna Foundation Guard (LFG) purchased another 123.89 bitcoins for close to $5 million at the time of settlement. Terra’s LFG has been buying bitcoin regularly since mid-March, and after Friday morning’s purchase, the nonprofit has approximately 42,530.827 bitcoin.

The LFG bitcoin wallet now holds 42,530,827 bitcoins worth $1.71 billion as of this writing. It is currently the 18th largest bitcoin wallet after 69 transactions beginning January 21, 2022. The

purchase of 123.89 BTC followed the creation of the Terraform Labs Global Founder Fellowship. “The purpose of the Terra Global Founder Fellowship is to work with top-tier early-stage venture capital firms, gas pedal programs and unicorn companies,” the announcement explained Wednesday Terraform Labs.

According to statistics, the secure LFG Gnosis address holds about $549.6 million in stable coins, dominated by the usd coin (USDC). The address currently holds USDC worth $398.16 million, tether (USDT) worth $151.4 million, and a small portion (0.056 ETH) of ethereum worth $168.56.
