Crypto asset xrp rose as much as 5% on Saturday after a comparable decline in yesterday’s session. This is despite the global crypto market size turning down, falling 0.51% at the time of writing. Litecoin also rose higher to start the weekend.
XRP, previously Ripple, returned to the green on Saturday as the token rebounded from Friday’s losses.
Following a low of $0.418,. XRP/USD ran up to an intraday high of $0.4501 earlier in the session today.
This move came as bullish momentum strengthened in the $0.4250 price area after the bears failed to sustain their earlier breakout.
From the chart, it appears that the Relative Strength Index (RSI) rebounded away from support at 58.00
At the time of this writing, the index is hovering at 60.77 and appears to be headed for a ceiling at 63.00.
Also, the 10-day moving average (red) is extending its upward cross against the 25-day moving average (blue), which could be a sign of further upside.
Litecoin (LTC)

Litecoin (LTC) was another move to watch over the weekend as prices remained near multi-week highs.
LTC/USD rose to a peak of $93.97 on Saturday, less than 24 hours after a low of $89.87.
As a result, Litecoin is now trading near the $94.00 ceiling and the recent three-week high of $96.11.
One catalyst for the move higher was the crossover between the 10-day moving average (red) and the 25-day moving average (blue).
In addition to this, the RSI is currently at 57.07, just above resistance at 56.00.
If the bullish momentum continues, there is a good chance ofLTCgoing above $100.
