Fumb Games Mobile App Bitcoin Miner Integrates Real BTC Rewards via Zebedee – Bitcoin News

Four years ago, a mobile gaming app called “Bitcoin Miner” came out that simulated bitcoin mining, but at the time the Fumb Games development team could not integrate bitcoin rewards. On Thursday, Fumb Games announced a partnership with fintech company Zebedee, and now “Bitcoin Miner” allows players to earn real bitcoins.

The cryptocurrency mining simulation game adds real rewards in bitcoins

An Android and iOS game called Bitcoin Miner recently added real rewards in bitcoins (BTC) to the gameplay. Essentially, Bitcoin Miner is an idle mobile game that replicates a simulated bitcoin mining business. Fumb Games made a deal with Zebedee to add real bitcoin rewards to the Bitcoin Miner game. Zebedee is a Hoboken, New Jersey-based company that specializes in integrating bitcoin into games. In September 2021, the company raised $11.5 million in a funding round led by Lakestar.

If a user plays the game, a Zebedee blog post published Thursday says that when players “see a green satoshi symbol over a coin,” the player will “earn bitcoin for clicking on it.” According to Fumb Games founder Paul West, this was not possible when the game first launched. “We originally released Bitcoin Miner about four years ago, when cryptocurrency was starting to gain momentum. But the game didn’t generate any real appetite because there was no way to give players the opportunity to earn real bitcoins at the time,” West said in a statement sent to Bitcoin.com News. The founder of Fumb Games added: “

With Zebedee, we were able to introduce real bitcoins into the game, which makes the premise of Bitcoin Miner much more exciting, impressive and worthy of players’ attention.

After collecting satoshi and if the user wants to cash out the bitcoins, they need to make a withdrawal in the Zebedee app. Basically, they select “Cash Out”, enter their ZBD Gamertag and click “redeem” to withdraw the bitcoin into the Zebedee app. The bitcoin mining simulator allows players to complete tasks and earn more rigs, invest in infrastructure, secure airborne units, upgrade current mining rigs, and level up to earn more rewards.

“Bitcoin is an amazing technology for human progress,” said Simon Cowell, CEO of Zebedee, during the announcement. Cowell concluded by emphasizing that the Zebedee team is “passionate about bitcoin technology itself and hopes that fun and easily accessible games like Bitcoin Miner will foster curiosity about bitcoin and attract more people of all ages and backgrounds to learn about the technology and participate in the new bitcoin-based digital economy.”
