Biggest Movers: ETC up 12%, as SOL Nears 1-Month High

The Ethereum Classic has gained 12% in today’s session as the cryptocurrency market rallied to start the weekend. The global market cap is trading more than 3% higher as of this writing as investors continue to buy crypto in the wake of the recent banking crisis. Solana also rose higher in today’s session.

Ethereum Classic (ETC)

Following Friday’s low of $19.14,ETC/USD moved to a high of $22.46 to open the weekend.

The move was driven by the Ethereum Classic’s re-entry above its recent bottom at $20.00, recording its strongest close since February 22 in the process.

The chart also shows that the 14-day Relative Strength Index (RSI) broke through the ceiling at 58.00, which also triggered the rally.

As of this writing, it is at 60.22, the highest level since February 2.

The next visible resistance point appears to be the 65.00 ceiling, which could lead toETCapproaching $25.00.

Solana (SOL)

In addition to 47} ETCSolana (SOL) also traded 9% higher and has been performing well since the beginning of the week.

SOL/USD rallied to a peak of $22.54 early in today’s session after falling to a bottom of $19.94 the day before.

As a result of Saturday’s surge, the Solana has moved to its strongest position since late February.

60} as well as ETCThe breakout in the RSI indicator was also the catalyst for this move.

At the time of writing, the index is at 55.71, above the aforementioned ceiling of 50.00

In the short term, bulls may try to send tokens to $23.00, the next important price point for SOL.
