PRESS RELEASE Since last year, CoinEx Charity has been providing funds to children in impoverished areas to put them back in school and continue their education. The Mercy Children’s Educational Welfare Program is still ongoing and has helped more than 20,000 children with funds from CoinEx Charity. Recently, CoinEx Charity received a report from the Human Development Foundation (HDF), a Thailand-based charity. In its report, HDF thanked CoinEx Charity for its charitable contributions and explained how the scholarship funds were used.
HDF is a non-profit, non-denominational charitable foundation located in Klong Toey, the largest slum in Bangkok, Thailand. To help poor children, HDF established the Mercy Center, which currently houses 100 children, more than 20 of whom were born with HIV/AIDS.Since 2022, CoinEx Charity has been working with HDF Mercy through donations Centre’s children through donations. By providing protection, care, and appropriate education for these children, HDF and CoinEx Charity are working together to promote their healthy development with love and warmth, preparing them for a future full of opportunities.
HDF reports that CoinEx’s generous donation is being used to purchase uniforms, shoes, books, stationery, and other essential items to support the continued education of children living at the Mercy Center and to pay school fees. The opportunities afforded by education help children break the cycle of poverty and acquire knowledge and skills that will help them secure skilled jobs as adults.
This February marks the last month of school and students will soon graduate or move on to the next grade level, and HDF noted in its report that the school year is going well and students are learning, growing, laughing, playing, and returning to new classes after the Songkran vacation.
HDF also thanks the CoinEx charity for their support in providing the children at the Mercy Center with the materials they need every day. We are grateful to CoinEx for providing the daily educational needs of Mercy Kids and for supporting the Foundation for Human Development in keeping this valuable center open as a source of support for the entire community, continuing the education of our children and providing loving care for each heart, each child.” Thank you for playing a major role in this project.
