A new decentralized exchange (dex) on Arbitrum called Vest Exchange was announced this past weekend, and the team that created the project said the platform is aimed at democratizing perpetual futures The team behind Vest further elaborated that the new Arbitrum dex is backed by companies such as Jane Street, QCP Capital, and Big Brain Holdings.

creator of a new dex platform built on top ofArbitrum layer 2 blockchainannouncedon January 28, 2023 that the project has emerged from stealth mode. The project is calledBest Exchange, Jane Street, QCP Capital, Big Brain Holdings, Pear VC, Cogitent, Moonshot Research, Fugazi Labs, Ascendex , Builder Capital, Infinity Ventures Crypto, Robert Chen (Ottersec), and others have invested and closed seed rounds. Vest Exchange also published ablog poston the same day outlining the project.
Vest believes that the decentralized financial ecosystem relies on decentralized exchange platforms for its strength. However, the Vest team believes that current prominent exchanges have limitations, including “high barriers to market listing, lack of risk management, and unclear risks and returns for liquidity providers.”
Vest explains that dex solves these three problems by utilizing a special risk engine. In addition, it leverages research and the latest technology to “open up new illiquid markets faster than any other centralized or decentralized exchange,” Vest’s blog post adds.
