According to countless social media posts, meme crypto Project Shiba Inu will launch the highly anticipated Shibarium, a Layer 2 (L2) project that was scheduled to launch in the third quarter of this year. Shiba Inu supporters believe the launch of Sibarium is imminent as many community members share animated images of the countdown clock on social media.
Meme Token Project Shiba Inu hints at launch of L2 scaling application Shibarium
On December 19, 2022, the Meme Token Shiba Inu (SHIB) increased about 2.3% against the US. The dollar is falling amid rumorsthat the Layer 2 (L2) project Sibarium is in the works. Bitcoin.com News reported on June 24, 2022 about his L2 project Shibarium, which was due to launch by Q3.
At the time, the developer behind his L2 scaling project centered on SHIB was said to have launched Shibarium in a private setting during his phase of alpha testnet. The developer pointed out that the wallet application was the most difficult part of software development, but other than that, the result was a success.
And on December 15, his member of the Shiba Inu team and his Discord admin, “Shibakraken” , tweeted an image of an animated clock. Another community he is a member of, ‘Shib Trophias’,also tweeted another animated image of a clock countdown on the same day. These teases are suspected of hinting at the start of the L2 project Shibarium.
“I can’t wait to see what happens when the clock stops ticking,” one of his SHIB fans said in response to Shib Trophias’ tweet I wrote
This speculation has led to a flood of social media accounts discussing the imminent launch of Shibarium. A SHIB advocate called “Classy”said: “SHIB’s big day is tomorrow. Many speculate that Shibarium could be coming. This will be MASSIVE.” We’ve been waiting for what seems like an eternity.” On Dec. 17, Shib Trophias updated the community in a tweet,stating:
First, update your main website. This was much needed and this is the first step in moving forward towards the beta release of his Shibarium. The entire website does not launch at once. There will be a gradual rollout and we will try to make it as smooth as possible. I hope you like it.
According to the Countdown Clock hosted at shibatoken.com, the countdown is just over 3 hours left. The countdown was shared by him on December 17th by his verified SHIB account (@shibtoken).
