Elon Musk Suspects FTX Co-Founder Sam Bankman-Fried Donated Over $1 Billion in Support of Democrats

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and Chief of Twitter Former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) has probably donated over $1 billion to help the Democrats. Many accused Musk of making the accusations without providing evidence. “This statement is incredibly irresponsible,” one person commented.

Tesla CEO and Twitter chief Elon Musk believes bankrupt crypto Currency exchange FTX has donated far more than its publicly disclosed amount to help Democrats in the election.

Bankman-Fried said that from 2021 he was in the 2022 election cycle, and the billionaire he was his second-largest contributor to the Democratic Party, behind George Soros. According to Opensecrets, he donated $39,884,256 to the Democratic Party before his FTX imploded and had to file for bankruptcy. An estimated 1 million customers and investors lost billions in the exchange’s collapse. FTX is currently under investigation for mishandling customer funds.

Musk’s statement said Bankman-Fried stole more than $10 billion and then sent $40 million to avoid imprisonment. Donating the dollar was in response to comments on Twitter that it was one of the highest return on investment (ROI) deals of all time. Musk insisted that $40 billion was just the published figure, pointing out that Bankman-Fried’s actual Democratic approval rating is “probably” higher than $1 billion. “The money went somewhere, where did it go?” the Tesla boss tweeted.
