Study: 6,100 Crypto ATMs Installed in 2022, Figure 3 Times Less Than in Previous Year

New data reveals 6,100 cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin Automated teller machines were installed in the first 11 months of 2022. The latest figure is about one-third of installed ATMs in 2021. Data shows that the US, with over 34,000 crypto ATMs, accounts for nearly 90 of her. % of all installed machines.

Number of ATMs installed in 2022 will decline

According to data compiled by Crypto Presales, approximately 6,100 installed in the first 11 months of 2022 of cryptocurrency and bitcoin automated teller machines (ATMs) are almost one-third lower than those installed at the same time last year. By mid-2022, there were approximately 37,800 cryptocurrency ATMs worldwide. That number continued to grow, surpassing 38,800 in August. However, in September, the number of BTMs decreased for the first time, dropping the total number of machines to 38,400.

and about 90% of Bitcoin ATMs are in the US. Data shows that Canada’s 2,688 installed ATMs take second place on the top 10 list of countries with the most cryptocurrency vending machines. The rest of the top 10 countries have fewer than 300 ATMs installed.

Regarding ATM ownership, the report states:

“With 33% market share and over 12,000 machines as of November, Bitaccess is the world’s largest crypto ATM maker. General Bytes is second with 23% market share and nearly 9,000 BTM.” Genesis Coin and Bitstop followed with 22% and 5% market share, respectively.”

Coin According to a report that relies on ATM radar data, all installed 82% of machines support altcoins. About 80% of ATMs support Litecoin, 73% support Ethereum, and only 39% support Dogecoin.
