One of the basic principles of web3 gaming is the idea of diversification, or more specifically, diversified asset ownership. However, teams at Unix Gamingteams at & Delirium believe that by limiting diversification to assets, developers themselves have been limited.

Delysium, which began purely with the desire to create next-generation open world titles, has expanded beyond its initial boundaries, even attracting investment from companies like Y Combinator. Instead, the team at Delysium recently announced that their games will be offered to multiverse operators to publish under what they call alicense. calling it “Decentralised Game Publishing” . Unix Gaming will be their very first multiverse operator.

Why not publish themselves?

The team at Delysium believes that while it is entirely possible to publish their own game, this new approach will allow them to evolve beyond their wildest imaginings. that “GTA V” has not been a truly amazing success. No one would disagree, but even Rockstar couldn’t have predicted how much it would evolve once it was in gamers’ hands.

If you are not familiar with GTA RP (GTA Role Play), it refers to playing out the roles players are given on the streets of “GTA Online” (by-the-book police officer, innocent store clerk, eastern mob boss, etc.). Role-playing takes the concept of an online Second Life to a whole new level and would never have been possible if Rockstar had strict control over the gaming experience.

To unlock the true potential of their hard-earned world, the Delysium team hands the keys to the castle to the operators, who can then use their own ingenuity to take it in creative and exciting new directions. And because it is a Web3 title, operators can use their tokens as currency in the game world, adding to the utility of the tokens.

When it came to choosing the first multiverse operator, the choice was an obvious one.

Both Delysium and Unix Gaming have promised new updates in the near future. As part of the newfound collaboration, they also recently launched limited edition NFT skins access to an early version of the game.

The team at Unix Gaming believes that players who purchase these skins provide essential data to improve the game and earn more than gamers initially paid for the skin This is described as a decentralized game test, as it allows for the
