The hackathon offers a $1.2 million prize pool for winners in six tracks.
- DeFi – From its original beginnings, DeFi continues to be an important move for the crypto space, allowing financial services to operate in an open, accessible and more transparent digital format The DeFi track is focused on finding innovative DeFi solutions that are providing accessible financial services to billions of people.
- GameFi – The future of gaming lies in blockchain. Entertainment meets Web 3.0. This track focuses on finding and developing the next big game idea.
- NFT – APENFTThe NFT track provides financial benefits and technical support to NFT creators to embrace the creator economy and help their work reach their full potential. It also seeks to improve the ability of developers to create new NFT applications.
- Web3 – This track focuses on discovering projects that are helping to bring the future of the web to billions of users.
- Ecosystem – The first iteration of this ecosystem track will focus primarily on Ethereum-based projects (both PoW and PoS) and will incentivize ETH developers to work on cross-chain capabilities leveraging BitTorrent Chain, other, bridging solutions, enabling major L1 blockchain linkages, and exploring the TRON ecosystem at large.
- Academy
– The TRON Academy track is focused on providing real events for enrolled college students in a “hacker house” style to experience TRON culture and win cash prizes for developing on TRON.
Why You Should Attend the TRON Grand Hackathon
Season 2 of the TRON Grand Hackathon 2022, which began a few months ago, was a huge success. There were over 1,800 participants and the winners shared a total of $1 million in prizes across four tracks: Web3, NFT, GameFi, and DeFi. The high number of participants means that many talented developers created new projects that will enrich the entire TRON ecosystem for millions of users.
As in Season 2, there are both jury-voted and community-voted winners.99} The list of judges includes respected industry experts in the blockchain community, institutional experts and key opinion leaders, and provides multifaceted thought leadership in evaluating a wide range of hackathon projects. Along with revolutionary leadership, guidance and feedback from the judges, the hackathon supported the winners with a variety of resources, including potential funding opportunities, liquidity, and integration with partner exchanges.
