Dubai Luxury Hotel Palazzo Versace Allows Guests to Pay in Crypto

Guests staying at Palazzo Versace Dubai will have the option to pay for services rendered in crypto currency starting September 7. The hotel will also add a crypto payment option to its e-commerce platform, allowing guests to pay for gift vouchers using digital currency.

Dubai-based luxury hotel Palazzo Versace recently said it will allow guests to use cryptocurrency to pay for services offered on its premises. As Business Traveler reports, starting September 7, guests staying at Palazzo Versace Dubai will be able to settle their respective hotel bills using Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Binance coins (BNB

According to thereport, Binance, one of the world’s largest crypto exchange platforms, is the “cryptocurrency infrastructure provider for this luxury hotel.” Guests can use crypto when paying for meals, lodging, and spa experiences, and the hotel will also accept crypto payments from guests who use the e-commerce platform to purchase gift vouchers and flower store items.

By accepting crypto, Palazzo Versace Dubai joins a growing list of companies operating in the country that accept cryptocurrencies.

Meanwhile, Monther Darwish, Managing Director of Palazzo Versace Dubai and founder of Palazzo Hospitality described the hotel’s decision to accept crypto payments as a decision for the future,and was quoted as sayingDarwish: “We are very pleased to be able to offer this service to our guests.

Also on the decision by luxury hotels to accept crypto payments, Nadeem Lakki, head of business development for the Middle East and North Africa region at Binance, noted that the hospitality industry is leading the way in accepting such solutions.

“Palazzo Versace’s decision to accept payments in virtual assets shows how the hospitality industry in Dubai is at the forefront of innovation as we move into a more digital world. Payments are just the beginning and we look forward to building this partnership together,” Ladki explained.
