Non-fungible token (NFT) sales recorded $180.43 million in NFT transactions this week compared to $142.33 million last week, a 26.76% The figure jumped higher. Ethereum-based NFTs accounted for the bulk of this week’s volume at $79.2 million, while ethereum-based NFT sales have declined 23.65% over the past seven days.
NFT sales volume swelled 26% over the past week
NFT sales were more than 26% higher this week than the previous week, according to metrics collected by cryptoslam.io. 17 different blockchain networks collected more than $180 million in NFT sales after recording $142.33 million last week. The top collection this week was Uniswap V3 NFTV1 Polygon with $68.65 million in sales. The top collection of the week was the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT compilation, which collected $7.58 million in sales this week.
Immutaswap.io, Digidaigaku, and Sorare followed the top two collections with sales ranging from $5.9 million to $7.35 million. Ethereum (ETH) recorded the most NFT sales at $79.29 million, followed by Polygon’s NFT sales of $69.46. Following Ethereum and Polygon were Solana, Immutable X, and Binance Smartchain; Flow was sixth this week with $2.02 million in sales, down 54.19% from the previous week.
Polygon (MATIC)-based NFT sales increased over 620% last week; Solana-based NFT sales jumped 46.99% from last week; and Arbitrum-based NFT sales increased 142.19%. ETH-based NFT sales dominated this week, while blockchain NFT sales dropped more than 23% from the previous week.
This week’s top five included three Bored Apes, one NFTiff, and one Cryptopunk NFT Bored Ape Yacht Club #6588 sold four days ago for $769.9 ether, $1.17 million. Bored Ape Yacht Club #441 sold 6 days ago for 350,000 DAI and NFTiff #212 sold for 175ETHor $271K.
Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) has the most expensive floor price today at 69.95ETH, followed by Cryptopunks at 65 ETH. Castaways – The Raft has the third largest NFT floor at 17 ether on Sunday, September 4, with a Pegz floor value of 14.69 ETH. Finally, Mutant Ape Yacht Club holds the fifth most expensive floor value at 12.75 ETH.
