The noise of other crypto drowns out Bitcoin’s message
Nathaniel Luz, a Nigerian author and crypto advocate, has published a new book on Bitcoin to remind readers why the cryptocurrency was created; Luz also uses the book to show that people are now using Bitcoin to “trade globally without age, gender, race, or global transactions without the constraints of age, gender, race, or location.”
According to Luz, the release of the book comes at a time when many people – especially those new to crypto – seem to be more attracted by the promise of “an infinite percentage of return” than byBTC‘s main selling point. He also said that seeing the noise of various cryptocurrencies drowning out the “Bitcoin message” motivated him to write a book explaining to people why, in his view, the top cryptocurrency was created.
“It calls for a reminder to separate the wheat from the [chaff]. Bitcoin is the culmination of more than 30 years of research and experimentation. It is not an overnight fast-food invention by some millennials,” Luz said in a written response to Bitcoin.com News.
BTC The title of the white paper is not “some afterthought”
The potential of the top cryptocurrency means governments were always going to pursue it, Luz added. But he also told Bitcoin.com News that the title of the bitcoin white paper’s prediction of its transaction medium as “peer-to-peer” was not “some afterthought.”
When asked about the book’s target audience, Luz said his goal is to reach those who have adopted bitcoin “out of necessity or for speculative purposes.”
Meanwhile, in the book, titled Bitcoin is Cash, Luz documents the journey of money through the centuries and explains how it evolved to become what it is today. He also makes the case for private currencies and how digital currencies like bitcoin can be a tool for activists.
